Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m embarking on a new superhero journey. Be on the look-out for updates on my new genre.
Within the last couple of months, I received lots of tweets and emails asking about Book Two in the Genetic Revolution Series. Double Identity is scheduled to come out 2014. I’m working hard to build or create a series that readers will continue to love and enjoy. I’m hoping readers will enjoy book two. Double Identity picks up where Breaking Free ended. Here’s the description.

I can’t believe it’s been an entire year! I’m too excited about how much my website and writing career has grown in a year. I’m thankful for all the love and support that I’ve received from my readers, indie publisher, and writing buds.
We’re almost at the end of our 7-week online Black History Month event. It’s been an exceptional experience. During week six, our topic is all about our favorite Black SF icon. I’ve chosen Octavia Butler. So much as been written about Butler, I don’t know if I can offer a unique perspective but I’ll try.
Good things come early. I remember when my son, Asante McCalla, was born a month early. This is just as exciting as that experience. So I’m guessing that early is good for me. I’m proud to announce that Breaking Free is now available in print and for immediate download on Amazon. No worries, the Barnes […]
This week begins an exciting online Black History Month Event. I’m proud to both remember and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s achievements and to open this awesome discussion on the State of Black Science Fiction 2012. This 7-week blog hop will feature some extraordinary authors who will share their feelings and estimations on Black speculative fiction. Did I mention that there will be giveaways?
I’m so excited to participate in a discussion about the State of Black speculative fiction with a few of my writer friends. During the next seven weeks, we’ll participate in a blog hop or blog tour where we all give our opinions on issues surrounding this interesting topic. I’m hoping that this online event will become something that we do each year during Black History Month.
