Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m embarking on a new superhero journey. Be on the look-out for updates on my new genre.
Within the last couple of months, I received lots of tweets and emails asking about Book Two in the Genetic Revolution Series. Double Identity is scheduled to come out 2014. I’m working hard to build or create a series that readers will continue to love and enjoy. I’m hoping readers will enjoy book two. Double Identity picks up where Breaking Free ended. Here’s the description.
My sensational GRW Buddy, Tami Brothers, is participating in the 2nd Annual Splash into Summer Giveaway (05/25/2012-05/31/2012). She’s giving away a variety of books and my book, Breaking Free, is included in her giveaways. Visit her website to find out details. You can find her here.
I can’t believe it’s been an entire year! I’m too excited about how much my website and writing career has grown in a year. I’m thankful for all the love and support that I’ve received from my readers, indie publisher, and writing buds.

This week begins an exciting online Black History Month Event. I’m proud to both remember and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s achievements and to open this awesome discussion on the State of Black Science Fiction 2012. This 7-week blog hop will feature some extraordinary authors who will share their feelings and estimations on Black speculative fiction. Did I mention that there will be giveaways?
I’m so excited to participate in a discussion about the State of Black speculative fiction with a few of my writer friends. During the next seven weeks, we’ll participate in a blog hop or blog tour where we all give our opinions on issues surrounding this interesting topic. I’m hoping that this online event will become something that we do each year during Black History Month.
I was too excited to sit on my first author panel. It was an honor to share the spotlight with Milton Davis, Nicole Kurtz, and Dada Aum Ra. The panel lasted over an hour but we had a great discussion. The image is clickable so take a look!
