Wil Smith’s Summertime always brings back memories. One of the things I remember most is being able to spend hours upon hours reading until my heart was content.
This summer, I’d like to encourage adults to participate in summer reading with my short story prequel. Flee will run as a series of serialized blog posts from June 25,2012-July 23,2012. To celebrate summer reading, I’ll be giving away two e-copies of Breaking Free on July 30,2012.

Flee is an intense short story based upon my upcoming Urban Fantasy, The Soul Eaters: An African Elemental Novel (July 2013). There’s earth magic, an African Goddess, a paranormal serial killer and a resurrection in this short story. There’s so much going on –I’m hoping people will get into some deep discussions on my blog. (Alicia rubs her hands together! LOL!)
This is my first adult Urban Fantasy and I’m a little nervous but I’ve enjoyed writing the creepy horror as well as the unusual. Sorry to my baby cousin who hates my paranormal stories, I’m working on Double Identity, no worries. K. My Summer Reading fest for adults begins next week so don’t miss it!
