What’s Next: Being Inspired and Diving Deeper into the World of the Sentinel Superhero Vigilante Serial
I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts about my writing journey and give you a glimpse of what's on the horizon. As many of you know, writing is not just a passion for me; it's a calling. It's a way to explore the depths of my imagination and create worlds that come alive on the page. And lately, I've been on a fascinating journey that's reshaping the context and events of my Sentinel superhero vigilante serial.
When I published "Chosen By Storm" back in February, I intended it to be a prequel to the serial. However, as I've delved deeper into the world of Oya, the Goddess of Storms, I've realized that there is so much more to explore and share. I want to give you the opportunity to dive deeper into the story world of the series and fully immerse yourself in the lore and legend of Oya. [YOUTUBE LINK]
The Mists of Avalon is an Inspiration
I remember the first time I read “The Mists of Avalon” by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I was engrossed and drawn into the story. In fact, I couldn't put it down. I was certainly a fan of King Arthur and Camelot, but I had never seen it from the perspective of Morgana Le Faye. Zimmer Bradley's take on the story was refreshing. I'm approaching this project from a similar perspective. I want to bring Oya to life on the page, as Zimmer Bradley did with Morgana Le Fay. But I also realize that many readers may not be familiar with Oya or her mythology. That's why I feel called to expand on the theme of Chosen By Goddess and provide more context and explanation.
An Extension of Chosen By Storm
In the coming months, I'll be focusing on this expanded Oya lore book and mini season, while also exploring new ways to bring the Sentinel Superhero Vigilante series to life, including releasing each episode as a web serial on YouTube. And of course, I'm working on some exciting new merchandise designs that I think you'll love.
As I expand the Oya Lore Book, I'm not just telling a story; I'm inviting you to immerse yourself in a world where the divine and the heroic intertwine, where legends are born and destinies are forged.
Moving into this next chapter, I'm taking time to balance my mental well-being and embrace my role as my Fascinate archetype - The Secret Weapon. This means that I may not always share every detail of my journey, but know that I'm always working behind the scenes to create something extraordinary. I'm learning to trust my instincts, embrace my strengths, and let my unique voice shine through in everything I do.
